"Adirondack Sun" Original Oil by Lorraine "Rainey" Dewey

"Adirondack Sun" is an original oil painting by Lorraine "Rainey" Dewey.  This piece is inspired by a walk in the woods near Brant Lake in the Adirondacks of Upstate New York.  This is one of my earlier oil paintings and was started with a burnt sienna under painting with layering techniques.  Oils are rich and quite a departure from my watercolor painting process.
